If Toyota made a diesel, I'd be all over a tundra.

I think a lot of people would. I can't believe they haven't come out with one yet.

The back seat of a dodge sucks. Cant believe theyd put that out there.

Yeah they suck bad. I only have 197,000 on my '03 Cummins and it cost me a battery, radiator hose, oil and filters. I would imagine most folks hope their truck sucks that bad

I appreciate all of the advice and discussion from the OB once again! We looked around yesterday and after all was said and done her preference was the Dodge 1500 Sport Crew Cab. So we pulled the trigger on a 2012 dark grey, black interior. I hope she likes it as much as she says she does because its hers for a loonnngg time. Thanks again!

Nice!

Sounds like a great truck! I was very close to getting that exact truck in black or red. While the towing suffers from the rear coil suspension, the ride is incredible!

Jordan, I believe that I deserve AT LEAST 1/2 point for my soils contribution. I praised the Hemi for all it's worth and some. I'll be keeping track on your previous post for an edit.

Thanks man. That's my neighbors house...he was actually up there fixing it himself a couple of weeks ago

Ahh, sounds like you got the R/T hood, lucky. My little brother has it on his truck.

As far as exhaust I have a Magnaflow Dual In/Dual Out muffler with the stock resonators still in place. I love it, sounds good under load/throttle...but there is 0 drone. I am pretty sure it's part #14385 or #14568. Here's a pic and vid:

Just a cold start up...no revving.

Ah i see.....we did like the hood but it really wasnt a necessity. Man i have to say i like your exhaust....so you kept the stock tips? About how much that set you back?

Yep, everything is stock except for the Y-pipe and muffler. The Y-pipe on these trucks is very restrictive as seen here so I had him replace it:

I had the work done at St. Amant Brake and Muffler. I know a guy that works there and swapped him some parts off of my old truck in exchange for the exhaust work...but it would have set me back around $300-$400. Kind of pricey, but the guy does really good work. You could probably buy the muffler and Y-pipe online for pretty cheap and get a shop to weld it in for you. If you're in Raceland, Mr. Kevin over at Raceland Auto Parts (I think that's the name of it) I'm fairly certain would do it. They do good work over there.

Its Kevin Duet right? I know him fairly well. I will go check with him too see if he can do it. I have had flowmasters put on by Jody at his shop in Raceland before...always sounds good. Dont think i want flowmasters again. Have you dont anything else to yor truck?
