Bow recommendations

Looking for my first bow. Don't want junk but also don't want to spend outrageous amounts. Whats a good mid range bow or brand to look for? Expecting to spend around $400 to $600.

I bought my first this year. I went with a Mission by Mathews. $550 rigged out. Its been a great bow so far.

Look on eBay. I bought a 2015 diamond carbon cure for 325 regular over 700 brand new.

I personally like Hoyt.
In your price range, you'll want to look at used bows or some previous year models.
Everyone on here will have a preference, but you'll need to go to a range and try a few for yourself. It really is the only way for you to pick.

Also check on the letgo app. It will show you used items that are local. I've found some good deals on used bows recently in my area. Couple of hoyts and Matthew's. PSE and others.

Check Ebay. I shoot a Bear Traxx. Picked it up for around 425 two years ago fom Midway. Can be had for around 360 still new in box. Leaves plenty for accessories.

Does anyone buy used bows? Not particularly talking to the OP...but any outfitters? I've got a Mathews DXT that I've hunted with only a handful of times. It's decked out...bow + accessories, I've probably spent $1,200.
Do you get good value on a resell of bows?
