The picture is posted upside down. I can make the most sense out of it if I turn the picture upside down and I realize that u can see the waters surface in the top of the picture and that the boat is hanging vertically most likely by the rig hook and the Bible's are going to the surface.

Makes much more sense...

As a Scuba Instructor, I always tell students to leave someone on WHO CAN OPERATE THE BOAT OR AT LEAST, THE RADIO. There have been several instances of divers coming up downcurrent from the boat...cannot get back and drown. Boat anchor/tie line can part and boat drift away from divers. I know of two cases where the bimbo girlfriend was left on board to tan and then when they came up for help she was useless and could not even operate the radio.

Hard to tell all the way but i would think if it was hanging by the rig hook, you would see the rig. The guys might have been diving at the rig and boat broke free and took one over the back. Family friends had this happen in the 90's and put a boat on the bottom out at 82. Luckily the were able to recover it.

Just read some updates on THT...it said they were fishing at Lena for a few hours before so the plug scenario is prob out. Possibly bad bilge and water coming through transom...One of the posters on there has a video and is trying to get permission to share

None yet. As soon as I see it, I will share it. Also have some text out to friends trying to see if anyone has seen it.

That comes to mind but you would think if it's insurance fraud, they would have all their wallets and keys and phones in a "rescue bag" that would float. Now they have to deal with getting all new stuff.

I'd think if the intent was to commit fraud they could have easily done so in 50ft of water instead of 1000ft though.

He talked real low with the banker but he was there to get a new debt card because his old one went down with boat. I figured he was talking about this accident. But definately didnt hear anything about his buddy getting arrested. He might have intended to leave that part out

How far out is Moxie? It's in blue water, so not exactly close. If you purposely go 30 miles out to go sink a boat, you are a much bigger idiot than someone who leaves no one up top to go dive.

You can sink the boat at the dock why would anyone go 30 miles from shore to do it?

Much easier recovery at the dock, if you are upside down and want out of your loan the last thing you want is the boat to be recovered and fixed

The easiest insurance is to have a wire short out and burn that sum bitch to the ground. Don't lose all your personal belongings and a lot less headache
