Kuiu runs "athletic." I only have a Jacket and I typically wear a XL and the XL is good for me.

No, more of a slimmer fit.

Thanks. Some of those jackets look perfect for cool weather fishing.

if you have a baw belly, you may have issues. Stuff is definitely athletic.

They're stuff is awesome but like others have said, it's slim fit. Go up a size if beer gut or sausage legs is a factor

I bought one of their jackets last year, was looking forward to it. Not thrilled.

Its cut very athletically. I ordered a medium, I'm built thick. No problem with zipping it, but the sucker is LONG and the sleeves dig into my shoulders when I raise my arm.

I like the qualities of the jacket, but not the cut at all.

Thanks for the heads up.
Been watching them to buy a jacket for an upcoming ski trip since I prolly won’t go buy one or two more times before I die. Figured it was the closest jacket I could double as ski and future western big game.

yeah I'm generally comfortable in stuff with a more athletic cut...but I've almost ordered some stuff from them a couple times only to be reminded that the pants have a 34" inseam, even with a 32" waist. No amount of training will make me that tall. I think they did finally start offering a "short" inseam option on some models.

Yea the attack pants have a short inseam and fit a coonass pretty well. They run about like wranglers do, so you still need a size bigger to accommodate base layers

I have 3 pairs of Attack pants. Once they came out with the long inseam I bought a pair. Loved them and ordered another. Then ordered one more.

I’m pretty tall though.
Sorry, not sorry.

I wear the Guide jacket most chilly days. Thing is awesome, but like others have said size up.

You guys are more forgiving than I am. I don't mind spending for quality but I can't support companies like KUIU and Patagonia which are California-based and China produced. If there are comparable products from companies not from California, they will get my business.

Sorry for the rant and if someone else wants to buy it, go for it.

I need an outer jacket and the guide looks real light for outside layer, right?

My usual set up for a 35 degree morning in the stand is UA midweight, button down cotton shirt, drake vest, and scentlock midweight jacket. Thinking I could kick the drake vest and just wear the KUIU guide jacket, would I be better?

I like my guide jacket. 35* I would be wearing wool base layer, attack pants, guide jacket, and puffys over that if I was just sitting. Its not a super warm jacket and is really meant to be an outer layer over puffies for cold weather, or a mild weather outer.
