could I just give you a few bucks and you let me shoulder yours and aim it for a few seconds? that'll get me by a lot cheaper for another 20 years.

I have a Marlin 60, Ruger 10/22, and a S&W 15-22.

I put a new barrel and stock on the 10/22. It's crazy accurate but I want to tweak it some more. you can modify this one pretty much any way you wish.

The Marlin 60 and the 15-22 are stock other than scopes on each.

Of those three the one that I grab 1st without question is the 15-22.

you replaced the barrel on your 15-22? Did you mean to say 10/22?

Yeah, 10/22 will fix that.

I bought a savage Model 64 the other day. It's a good little gun. Probably 25 years old though

I have a speedmaster and love it. It's nice to be able to cycle shorts. But it's kind of nice. I wouldn't want to tear one up.

I am a gun enthusiast who cares nothing about ever owning a 10/22.

I vote Remington Nylon 66.

I hear ya. I have a few of them left to me by my grandfather. One that's beat up from me using it as a kid and when he passed away he had two in excellent shape.

For all you fellow speedmaster owners, be careful with them. It is almost impossible to find parts nowadays so if you come across another one may want to buy it for parts.

Remington 597

Love the length of pull and heavy barrel. Feels like a high caliber rifle in your hands. Paid $250ish for mine. Doesn't feel like a cheap toy like a lot of 22s

Ruger 10-22 /thread

Winner by far. Even good to shoot spawning bass with the barrel under water. Or so I was told.

I have one and have treated it like crap since I was 10. Mud, rust, and not being cleaned for years was the norm. I thought it was just a little plastic POS until I found out how much it was worth last year. Pretty sweet little gun, and I haven't ever had a desire for a 10/22. I also have a CZ452, but that is not a toy

I haven't seen it in 25 or 30 years.

Mine got stolen back in '82 because I was a young, stupid kid.

I sure miss that little rifle. Saw one at a gun show a month ago for $350, it was in great shape. I shoulda jumped on it.

Growing up I had a Marlin 60. I loved that gun. Katrina took it away from me. I replaced her with a Henry lever action. Fun gun to shoot. The action is incredibly smooth. Highly Recommended.

I would love to find me a Rossi pump .22LR. If anyone knows where I could pick one up, it would be appreciated.

Just sighted in a new 4x32 scope on mine Monday. Love that fun!

Us old folks like our Remington Nylons

Us not so old folks do too. Was the first rifle my dad ever gave me.

Hard to find one that's in good condition for under $500 right now though.
