No, but I have a beagle that sometimes thinks he is a wolf dog.

A wolf would wax the floor with a pit. A wolf literally had double the bit force of a pit, and that’s on the conservative side. It would out weight the pit, has more stamina, and literally kills for a living. It really would not be close.

Hogs outweigh pitbulls too, and are regularly subdued by them.

Tell me you don't know the difference in a pack of wolves and a lone wolf without telling me you don't know the difference in a pack of wolves and a lone wolf. Gamebred pitbulls were historically culled if they couldn't last 3 hours in a match with failing organs and broken limbs. Wolf instincts are to run to preserve life.

Google Blue Bay Shepards. Great breed from down in Florida. I have seen several but never owned one. Not Cheap.

Most here think “pit bull” and vision the blue pits and other family pets people keep in their house. A true game bred pit bull would go toe to toe with a single wolf. The size would be its biggest disadvantage with long legs. A wolf’s instinct is to survive where a true game pit’s only reason for living is to kill other dogs.

Always laughed when some hardass would be watching the LSU game and he'd sneak up and position himself right out of their sight line.

And he'd just wait.

It was his way of showing you, if he really needed to you wouldn't even know it was coming.

I won't lie, I can move pretty quickly and quiet for a big guy, and I used to do the same thing to him to scare the shite out of him while he was begging the ol lady for food.

Good dog, but honestly too dangerous for most people to have.

Wolves hunt in packs: A lone pitbull against a lone wolf would put up a pretty strong fight and, in some cases, may be able to beat the wolf one on one. But a lone pitbull against a wolf pack would ultimately have little chance of escaping, much less defeating the pack.
Of course, fighting one on one, pitbulls would have their own set of strengths.

Pitbulls are much heavier than wolves, and their bite is powerful in its own right. If a pitbull is able to get the first bite, it might be able to hold its own against a wolf, especially by gripping the wolf with its teeth and using its heavy weight to overwhelm the much lighter wolf.

I don't. I just know a lot about various types of working dogs, their histories, what goes into training them, how they operate, and what it means to be gamebred, and know a lone wolf would lose.

I think the keyboard warriors don't know the difference in a petbull and a true bonafide pitbull.

Also tight skin good for fighting? Yeah if it's not a fight to the death.

Loose skin is good for a fight to the death because it minimizes the chances of a lethal neck bite.

There isn't a livestock Guardian dog on the planet that has a tight-skinned neck.
