Hear about them all the time near Woodville. 2 seasons ago my dads friend was bowhunting in Woodville. He was coming off his stand and heard some crunching sounds. About 30 yards away was a mountain lion chewing on acorns. He said he never climbed back up a stand so fast

Landowner said a few years ago he saw one a few times. I never have. He's old but a legit outdoorsman.

Have not spent any time in the woods around St Francisville but would imagine they are there without a doubt. I grew up on a farm on the river around Natchez and would see one from time to time.

I heard one 2 years ago

About 18 years ago my neighbor said he saw one while spotlighting. Said he thought a deer was in a tree until it climbed down.

The farmer I grew up next door to (93 yrs old now) said he use to see one about every 15 years while checking cows

Met a guy that said he was turkey hunting and got up from a set and walked down a logging road and one was there

Know several people that say they have heard them while hunting and got down so they wouldn't be caught in the dark trying to get back to the truck

When I was a kid my dad was working nights and said he saw one near Thompson Creek on 61. He's seen and killed countless Bobcats and coyotes so Id think he'd know the difference

Saw one 3 years ago in Ft. Adams Ms. I was in my jeep leaving the camp and he was sitting in the trail licking his paw when we rolled up on him. He/she was a charcoal grayish color.

We used to hunt on Thompson creek. Cousin swears he saw a black panther when he was like 11, but everyone's always been skeptical. He still swears it's true. I heard some really crazy noises coming from behind my stand once, that I honestly could not imagine what type of animal was making it (not rustling leaves, but actual vocal noises). Always wondered different that's what it was. Nearly crapped my pants.

I never have but two different people that I know, that have never met each other, have each seen one in the port Hudson area. They are not far from each other as the crow flies. Both very credible people. Both said the cats were tawny brown and mentioned the tail looked as long as the body.

In Clinton, About 6-7 years ago we had one on a camera we set up near the gut pile. We kept having something bury the carcasses and were curious so we set up a trail cam and sure enough a big arse cougar looking cat. Hadn't seen him since.

Also saw a family of big black cats (Panther maybe?) one morning cross our pipeline into our "sanctuary" where no one ever goes. That was probably 10 years ago.

Posted before but since you asked:
I think it was 1999, Me and Webfoot were hunting just north of Blackhawk Plt. When I saw a cougar slink across a big pipeline Row. No mistaking what it was. Watched it thru my scope at about 150 yds. Not St F but cats swim too

Saint Francisville Area?

Yes, about 3 weeks ago I saw a black panther and a cougar walking together. They were traveling down hill from the McDonalds, they cut through the slots at Sonic. I lost sight of them at that point, assumed they were headed down to that gas station that serves chicken and fries. Why do you ask?

We were driving back to Three Rivers from Black Hawk north of the control structures on the levee road around 10 pm . At first we thought a large coyote was running up the levee from the river side, when it got on the road we both freaked at the size of this cougar . It stopped for a second and then hauled arse across the bean field towards Silver Lakes . The second big cat I've seen .
