It's interesting that outdoor activities are looked down upon on the outdoor board.

Have you played Disc Golf or Tennis? They are both pretty legit. Disc Golf is definitely for hippies, but it's for regular people too.

They have 2 courses set up on every field. A course if you really want a challenge and not stoned. Then they have the stoner course where it is easy to find the disk...

Although there is no penalty for talking of that which you know not, you may want to actually see it before commenting on it:

I find it strange that the person questioning other peoples manliness is a male nurse.

How is this even a sport? Ok I take golf and tennis back, Ive actually played golf before and agree it def takes skill. Im more into drinking and cussing than anything else and prob lose a dozen balls in the 1st 9holes. But disc golf???? Seriously?? Do they hand out "participation trophies" because they dont want to hurt the players feelings because all the other sports are too hard??

Well if this was a sport, I'd be a professional with a Nike contract and on a Wheaties box.

I've played it a couple times. It was fun, but I'd rather round ball golf. Watching someone that can really throw a disc is pretty impressive. Anything can be a sport if it is competitive. My brothers and I had some pretty intense nerf basketball wars in my room growing up. We considered it a sport.

Enter a tournament and find out.

BTW, most of the disc golfers that I personally know are better fisherman and hunters than the vast majority of this board. I'm sure the hippie stereotype has some truth out west or in the northeast, but not so much in the south.

Alx is so mad.

I gave up my disks long ago. I hate all types of golf equally.

Do you use a jogging stroller for your stuff? I've never played but I've walked through a couple parks that have it to take my son fishing. Everyone had jogging strollers full of discs.
