We have a team at LaSalle in Men's overhand and are looking to get a new bat. Can anyone recommend the best bat out there right now?

Thanks

That was classic. I heard Randy Johnson was really shook up over that.

Just make sure they are legal to use in the tourney. A lot of good bats lately have been banned in sanctioned tournaments.

I had a DeMarini 2 piece that was pretty good

There are several good composite bats on the market. DeMrini bats are excellent quality too.

Boiling them helps speed the break-in.

I can tell we have no softball gurus
Worth is the largest. What weight you want? One piece or two? End load or balanced?

I'm interested in this too. I prefer a balanced, 28 oz bat. I've hit with a worth titan and a freak, and I prefer the titan, but would love to know what else you'd suggest.

any of the worth 454s or duos

i like an end load, so that's always the first thing i look for.

This +1. I had never "gone yard" until I started using one of these.

it's whatever you are comfortable with. i LOVE hitting home runs, but there are few instances where a home run means more than a double in the gap. yes, it is worth one more run, but that is one less bump your team has available

not hating on you, just imparting a little strategy
