Anyone have any team names or anything yet? Or are we just going to leave them the way they are.

I can't believe I missed this thread. Been swamped at work all month. I'll join a team if they need someone. I hunt 2 spots in SW LA (forked island & Abbeville), 2 spots in SE LA (pointe a la hache, Biloxi Marsh) and I have a buddy with a new lease in Vidalia that I'll hunt with from time to time. EJW told me about this contest a year and a half ago and this is 60% why I joined this board.

Swla ricefields. Many geese will die...

What is the decision on Canada or other out-of-state trips?

Ya I will look at all the names when I get a chance and see.

I thought we agreed on no canada hunts counting but out of state did. But don't quote me on that. I will get with geauxcats and see.

I know no one cares but I think we should look at the season dates for the 3 main states (LA, AR,MS) and set the rules by that. Anything legal during that time frame counts. Oos counts as long as the hunts occur in the decided dates. Example: If teal count, then early Canada geese (MS)counts if inside the decided dates.

I think Rize, jsmoke and Old#7 are wanting in. Not sure if there are anymore.

This sounds reasonable. Hunt must occur during dates mentioned. Why should a hunt in North Dakota count while one just north in Canada would not?

Because Canada is a different country and has different regulations. If you want to hunt Canada then maybe only six ducks should count just like here. Just a thought.

If you want to hunt in Canada you will have to play by American rules...

Daily aggregate limit of 6

I think that is fair

So am I in or what? And are we counting birds from teal season? Or is there going to be a contest just for teal season?
