Depends on the type of grass you are spraying it on.

It will kill it. But seeds will germinate and will be back next year. Not as much as before spraying though.
Clover is normally a sign of low nitrogen levels. Put a little fertilizer down after clover is nuked.

where can one pick up this stuff? local weed feed place? Just ask for 2-4 D or is there a brand of sorts that has this in it to buy?

I just bought 4 gallons from Amazon. It's cheap. $18 a gal or so.

The general public can't buy 2-4d. I mean the real non-diluted stuff. Farmers can. Get your hands on some of that stuff, bye bye clovers in a day.

2-4d on clover means death to clover. Clover will show signs of dying in 6-12 hours with these Temps
