Today makes two years we lost a great man, husband, father, son, brother, and my best friend, El Josey Wales. The OB was instrumental in helping his family heal after his passing and for that you will always be special to them.
Many things have occurred over the last two years, but our love for him has never waivered. Please help me say a special prayer for his family this evening as we remember the man he was. Here is EJW and EJW Jr at my camp during the 2012 hunting season.
I'm having a frito damn pie this evening. Josey loved frito damn pies.

i had no idea EJW was jason deal from himmels...
jason was a good man, a good father and we were so sad to learn of his passing. jason worked with me on many of our projects and I was glad to have gotten to know him
clearly he touched many more people here and that is a testament to his character and his good deeds. Hope his family and all of you who knew him are healing and and are celebrating his life today
cheers Jason

Roger that. Never knew the guy at all but I came home for this just from reading his posts on the OB and seeing how much respect he had on here. Then I find out that his BIL was one my good friends and former hunting buddies.

It was the most amazing thing I've ever witnessed. I think everyone that attended the event that night left the building a better person than they were when they arrived. That was an amazing testament to the man he was.

They were both incredible but I was talking about the school fundraiser for the American Heart Association or whatever it was.
