I'm usually out the stand by 10, but last full moon, I had bucks on camera at noon, so I'm staying put a bit longer.

The older I get, the longer I stay in the stand. I've seen many deer between 10-1 if they are not moving early.

ALWAYS BRING A BUNCH OF BULLETS!!!!!
Just had a fawn come tearing by and hit the canal next to me. She was being chased by three dogs, 2 lab mixes(both collared) and a pit (uncollared). My dumbass only brought 4 bullets today. Shot one to sight in my 444 and only had three left. I was so pissed climbed down and went after them with a 2x4. Got one in the arse and they all high tailed it (in a different direction as the fawn).
I'm a huge proponent of always bringing a box of bullets. I'm steaming.
