this is just fricking sad for so many reasons...
and who won the civil war isnt one of them... Mitch arrogantly thumbed his nose at courts, civil service professionals, and citizens. New Orleans is on its way to Detroit

Wait until someone tells him that while African-Americans can easily elect one mayor of New Orleans, due to the demographic of the city. Nationally, they're significant, but no one ever got elected with only 13% of the vote.
And most people nationwide enjoy New Orleans, but they also KNOW that the city is...damn...I hate this....basically a dump, compared to other major cities in the U.S.
Only time they cut the grass or do maintenance on a normal timeframe is when someone mows "Mitch Da Bitch" into the grass on the levee, or spray paints General Beauregard's NAME on the demolished plinth upon which his statue was unceremoniously ripped the night before.
Look how efficient the city is when you defy Mitch.

All of what you said is accurate, but real estate prices are still going to be arbitrarily high and people aren't deterred from buying there.
It's mind boggling to me.

except for the fact that he has no actual accomplishments as a political figure. i mean i guess trump is president so anything is possible but what is he going to run on?
What a racist question?
He "took 'em down" that's more than enough for the Dems. and their media. They still can't believe that Trump won. Same delusions are still at play, here. Mrs. Clinton is now part of "the Resistance" and they're still lapping it up and running their puff pieces. They'll make Landrieu look like a million bucks. Run stories on the family 's history, their tolerance, their years of "public service..."
Remember, Senator Landrieu was a "centrist" and worked with Republicans....it's all so pat.

As a general rule, being unable to win your own state presents a large problem to any national ambitions.
And Mitch likely couldn't have won statewide office again BEFORE this horseshite started because the only think keeping him as Lt Gov was incumbency.
