Meh, better off selling it himself. At least trying.

Not sure on AZ laws about being able to cover taxes and all.

smoke color
i think it's called "anvil" and I wish I had it too.

my daughter is in love with the blue they came out with last year "electric blue pearl" I think. Her junior year grades weren't up to snuff so when senior year started she made me a deal that if she made honor roll all senior year, I'd paint her jeep that color. She's on her way.

She also negotiated with her mother for a lift kit too if she made banner roll (I escaped that one- made a B on her last report card)

If it is anvil you're talking about, I'm pretty sure it's still available to some extent. There's another Willis Wheeler here in my town that color. I honestly would probably have just pulled the trigger on it if it weren't for it not being the Unlimited model. Pretty sure it's a 2015, but I'll have to check again.

has a rattle that mechanics can not find

Is the noise coming from behind the dash area, around the firewall? Mine had a rattle there for a while.

It's behind dash towards passenger side. Drives him crazy.

Have him check the metal heat shield on the firewall. Mine got bent when I caught a stick trail riding and it would rattle while going down the road. Had to bend it back with some needle nose and a hammer.

It started like 2 months after he bought it. Jeep only had 9 miles when he bought it. Comes and goes. Problem is that everytime he tells dealership about it(he has full extended warranty on it)....then it stops rattling. But yeah...2 years later....still rattles

I'm gonna tell him to at least try to be more aggressive in finding rattle before just getting brand new one

It's a Jeep. Jeeps come standard from the factory with a rattle or two.

Hope he can find it.

I think it is even in the warranty. If you get one without a rattle, you can bring it back in and trade it for another one with a rattle.

All you have to do is to make the rest of the jeep loud enough to drown out the rattles!

I traded mine in twice until I got the right steering wheel shimmy I was looking for.
