It's rough leaving, and not just because you're leaving paradise

First time I've used facebook in a while. Damn that shite has changed a lot

And yeah, yesterday was my first day back at work. I completely forgot how to do my job for the first 5 hours of the day. It was paradise, but you definitely have to go through an all time bad airport to get there.

Seatec is by far my favorite airport in the US.

It's definitely up there as far as amenities goes. It has a great selection of restaurants, bars, little food shops, etc for an airport. And it's pretty nice.

The thing that sucks about SeaTac (and I used to live out there and flew in/out countless times) is that there aren't that many flights in and out for a city it's size. You're basically SOL if you're flight gets delayed or cancelled. I understand it's because of geography, and SEA is not a transit airport (like Denver or Chicago or DFW), but it sucks.

I hit the tri-fecta next month. I get to experience Charles de Gaulle, JFK, AND Newark in one big shite show of an itinerary.

Haven't read this entire thread, but Kansas City's airport has to be mentioned here.

Nashville has got to be one of the best.
Only problem with Nashville is they havent got the memo to put the self-check in computers away from the desk yet. This causes a line at the check in desk everytime I fly out. This is my only complaint though

Southwest does

Southwest doesn't do that in New Orleans though or Panama City.

You chance of going through all 3 on one trip and being 100% on time with each is probably less than 10%.

CDG is so bad. I haven't been in 4 years though so maybe they've made improvements, but I've paid extra to avoid it a couple of times.

Yep, they are the only ones. American and the others it is old-school where you have to go to the counter. It kills me

But, in my experience, it's always been the easiest airport in NYC to get in and out of and at like half the cab-fare of JFK to get into the city. Therefore, I don't really see it as being all that awful.

Agreed on the last part, which is why that's where I've generally gone through, but the airport itself is anxiety inducing and depressing.

ATL is a fantastic airport to fly through though.

Yeah, I lived in Atlanta, and agree with it. It's a great airport to have a layover in, but a bad one for a home base. Kind of the anti-DFW. That airport sucks if you have a tight connection, but it's very effective for a home airport.

I've been to 8 of the 10 airports listed but am usually too fricked up on xanax to pay attention to the quality of the airport. i do recall msy being a shithole though.

LAX is on the list purely on traffic and difficulty just getting into the airport shite is a clusterfrick.

i live in LA so I've experience lax a lot and have mixed feelings. in terms of amenities lax sucks, there is so much barren space there it looks like they are always doing remodeling in the terminals but they really aren't. the traffic there is always bad, but the actual layout isn't the worst.

Dated and ugly

They're doing a ton of construction/upgrades right now (went through there a few months ago).

Anyone flown through Doha in Qatar? I never have and just booked a trip and that will be my hub. Wondering how good/bad it is since it's virtually brand new.

Nice looking airport but we had a weird experience there. Airport personnel pointed to some of us and ushered us to a crowded anteroom and kept us there for over 2 hours. No discussion, no explanation. Didn't get to hotel room in forever. You flying Qatar?

The worst in my experience is Jomo Kenyatta (Nairobi). Hate that place.
