this doesn't bug me, but one in the same genre does--i do not remember, even all the way through college, people saying, "You're fine," when I said, "Excuse me."

I wasn't looking for your assessment of my behavior and relative culpability. What's funny, is I actually prefer, "No worries" to "You're fine" or "You're okay" (less bad).

But excuse me does not warrant a response other than a genuine smile or nod of the head. Or a creepy wink if it's an OT5.5+.

The newest overused word is OPTICS.

Gives me the shits when I hear it. Even more so when it is used the wrong way.

Passion.


Hate this in commercials.

"Our passion for helping our customers."

Passion means "strong emotion or feeling" . It doesn't mean like or love for. It also encompasses hate.

It just drives me nuts. Course, most business lingo does.
