Why shoot will and then his wife if it was in self defense? Plus will was in his drivers seat so the other driver had to be confronting him.

yep and it would be easy to prove or disapprove that will had a gun. I think the cops are moving a little fast to say road rage so it makes Nola not look as dangerous. It could have easily been a smash into the back of him and rob him type deal.

That was my first thought.

This doesn't seem random to me.

I'm thinking his wife was hit by errant shots.

I still catch myself flipping people off or mouthing off. I need to stop that shite. Certainly not in NOLA.

Hope Angola, or wherever the frick is chok full of Saints fans.

Man I hope not but our first instincts are to side with the celebrity figure. Especially one that did so much for the Saints.
Will be interesting to hear why only a 2nd degree charge.

Nothing about this seems premeditated to me

Where did you read this information? The account said that the Hummer rear ended Smith causing his car to hit the Impala.

No doubt. If Smith was slumped over the steering wheel, this screams execution style killing. Murder in the 1st should be the charge.

2nd degree seems appropriate
This wasnt premeditated, it was a reaction to a spontaneous argument. Dont read into the 2nd degree thing

That just means there was no premeditation.
