Attended high school 1981-1985.

We had a basketball player named Eddie Williams. I think he was recruited by UTEP ? Idk what became of him while in college.

Roderick Booker or Elice Parker.

Both were the best athletes I ever saw but just from the wrong side of the tracks and fell into trouble. Not sure what ever became of the former but EP enlisted in the service then walked on at LSU later in life. Was very proud to see him become something positive.

Early 90s was a great time to play high school football around Baton Rouge. Warrick Dunn/Kevin Franklin combo at Catholic, Alan Stansburry at Broadmore, Glen Oaks had a phenomenal team, McClure brothers at Central, and can't forget about watching Lester Earl on the basketball court.

Jimmy Nelson - Alabama/Brewers
Austin Wood - FSU/St. Pete Jr. College/Southern Cal/Angels
Brett DeVall - 40th overall to Braves
Ryan Chaffee - Chipola/Angels/Miami
Jarret Parker - Virgina/Giants

Played baseball with all of the above at Niceville High, Jarret Parker moved after his 10th grade year. His dad was military and received orders.

This girl in my sister's class turned down basketball to a number of D1 schools including LSU. Said she was tired of playing.

For some reason none of the people from my high school are posting because my name hasn't been mentioned yet. Very surprising.

There was never anyone notable at my High School. However, I'll just say that I was in High School when the greatest high school athlete of all time was playing in Arkansas.

Basil Shabazz. Early 90'90's Pine Bluff Arkansas. He was All State in Football, Basketball, Baseball, and track and field. He would have been a phenom in college football, but he was drafted to the Saint Louis Cardinals and then couldn't hit the curveball. Fizzled out and then played college football at UA-Pine Bluff until he suffered a career ending kneck injury. Unbelievable athlete.

Also had Corey Hilliard at that time. I'm drawing a blank on the badass TE we had on those teams as well.
