Aaron Adams - blocked a field goal to help LSU defeat Clemson in the 1996 Peach Bowl

Neil Reed - The final straw that got Bobby Knight fired from Indiana

I played football as a kid with Toney Converse of Pitbulls and Parolees fame. He was a pretty good running back at Tulane until getting into trouble. On the 1998 undefeated team.

LaBrandon Toefield and Antron Seiber. Shame Antron didn't go to LSU to play QB rather than play professional baseball.

Derek Sherrod was LT for us, All-SEC at MSU and was the 32nd overall draft pick of the Packers a few years ago. Out of the league, though, not. Could not adapt to the NFL and had knee problems.

His brother Dezmond, who also went to Caledonia with me, was a member of the Pittsburg Steelers Super Bowl winning team as a FB/TE. Great family.

Probably Junius Durrell while I attended Acadiana High. Best athlete in Lafayette at the time was probably Greg Duplantis at Lafayette High. Best Athlete from Acadiana would probably be Ali Broussard.
