I think whether you consider yourself Irish or not, you either are or you're not Irish.

If that's the case, then I can consider myself Samoan. That'd be cool.

I used to work with a African American who was blacker than Tobie's arse. His last name was McCoy, so he claimed to be Irish.

My family are mutts. I can't lock down one thing. It's like side 1... Country people from Oklahoma and Indiana, going back to land-grab. Then before they are all of British isles descent.

Other side, it's North Italian by way of Chicago, mixed with fourth generation Southern Mississippi.
Both of which had some Irish, my grandma had some German and way down the line a Cherokee great great grandmother.

Actually had traced the family back on both sides to Europe.

Is that Irish enough?
