Trying to plan a vacation for early august, found a pretty good deal on a beach front villa in Belize, how are the beaches? Any other locations you recommend?

Not Belize, but I have been to Pueblo, Colorado. It was ok.

Had a friend just go and they said it was incredible, the blue hole is one of the top diving locations in the world if you are into that

What beach? On a Caye or the mainland?

Belize is awesome. Go inland and see the jungle/Maya stuff as well.

stayed in the place that wheel of fortune always uses in their packages on Ambergris(means whale vomit) Cay, it's a drive(golf cart,) int town, or water taxi for a few bucks, real nice place but you've got to set up a bunch of activities or AC gets old quick, we did the cave tubing/jungle four wheeling tour, snorkeling is great, blue hole, etc., I'll try to dig up the name of the place we stayed in, it was it's own little compound, rooms were more like condos with full kitchens )

Have stayed in San Pedro out on the island a few times. It's a great relaxing place but if you're going for beautiful beaches then think again. There is a barrier reef or something that keeps a lot of seaweed on and near the sand

It's awesome. I hoped on one of those lil crop dusters and went all over the country.
