Nobody in their right mind would live in BR over LR if all other things were equal...
BTW, you could say the same about other states... All of which are better than Louisiana

I'm not speaking with nostalgia at all. I'm more than aware that Louisiana has many more issues than most. But you showing up to bitch about LA is about as predictable as it gets around here. Not saying you're wrong, just that it's predictable.
Your hate and contempt for LA is palpable, but you won't just take the leap and move. I'm just saying, simply, do it already. You'll be a much happier person for it.
But for the record I was back in BR/NOLA in April, and will be back for a weekend this August. My parents are finally selling their home in LA next year and I'm very happy that they'll have the chance to live somewhere else. After that, my trips back home will be few and far between.

Me bitching about LA is my shtick. Everyone on here has one. Like TJGator being an SJW and Rebeloke being all around terrible...

I don’t get all the Indiana hate, how is it any better or worse than some other Midwestern states like Ohio? My top three worst states are:
New Jersey (guidos, mob, trashy)
Maryland (Baltimore is a dumpster fire)
Illinois (cess pool of Chicago and the state may legit go bankrupt)

Louisiana and Mississippi are the worst and it's not much of a debate. If you are a city person then NewO put LA over MS but they both still suck. I personally have LA st the bottom because with as much advantages this state has, you have to try and suck as bad as we do. The level of incompetence of state and local governments is elite.

Because it's 30 miles away. I live in Washington now and before that I've lived all over the US. Universally, Mississippi is either the butt of a joke or completely forgotten as a state.
