I can add more info as needed but these are the basics. When I say hometown I mean no relocation is needed.

I would like what I do at C much more than A and B. Looking for the best long term option at this point.

A. Medium size company, high pay, high stress, hometown, 2 hour (or more) drive daily, laid back environment.

B. Large company, moderate pay (possibly a cut), high stress, hometown, 30 minute drive daily, corporate environment.

C. Large company (more prominent than B), moderate pay (lateral pay, potential raises but slow and steady), high stress, relocate 1200 miles away, 30 minute commute daily, corporate but laid back.

2 hour drive? One way or round trip?

Just calculate how much time that is over the course of a year and you will have your answer.

C. All depends on how important being to your home town is though. If it's important, take A. I'd rather work in a laid back environment than a strict one. Especially if the job is stressful

Why at C is there necessarily a 30 minute commute?

Take the job that you want the most. The peripheral issues are not great enough to base a decision on one way or a different way.

Time to change professions or quit being a pussy.

Go with A and move closer to work, or C and start a new adventure.

I'd go with C. But one major question first: are job A's long drive times your commute? or are they on-the-job hours you're getting paid for? could you move somewhere closer or is the driving in all directions potentially?

Yeah I would probably go with C. Although I don't get the high stress job in a laid back environment thing.

He could have a lot of responsibilities but his higher ups are more lenient on deadlines and will help him out if need be. Corporate environments are very strict and if you don't meet your deadlines come hell or high water, you'll hear about it.
