I remembered that it was right around the time I started HS. Pretty funny being excited about a McDonald's but there wasn't much to do in Central back then

It was either McDonalds at Monterrey, Andy’s/Colonial Drive In, and Stacy’s Arcade.

For the real old schoolers, we had the arcade room where Blackies is. The Space Room or Space Shuttle. Something like that.

4 pages deep and not a single person has said Sonic.

Since we were from Mamou, the chick pickings were slim at times, so we’d go to Ville Platte or Eunice to expand our chances. Of course, the local guys didn’t care much for out-of-towners invading “their” territory.

At that time, Ville Platte had a Sonic on the west end of town. And yes, knuckles were checked there occasionally.

Funny thing was, when we got to college, we all acted like the best of friends, LOL.

Definitely… Alf’s, 2010/The Zoo, and Kingfish in Laffy.

That was a good spot. The Greek theater was another place we would go hang out at.

I still have a free pass to 2010. It’s dated like September 17, 1988.

Cruising Railroad Avenue in Donaldsonville. Friday night, Saturday night, Sunday afternoons.

Later on hitting Tony's or Eric's if there was a band.

During the day shooting hoops or hunting.

We might venture to BR to Cortana to buy some threads or cassettes/ CD's
