roller skating rink before we could drive and when we got cars, we would ride from one end of town to the other, circling the Sonic. Drinking beer, bonfires and playing cards in a field that had a small shack we called the "country club". Growing up in a small town was the best.

When I was a kid, there was a skating rink called Skatetown. Skating and arcade games. All the birthday parties were held there. It eventually went out of business and became Carpet Town.

It’s now the regional hub for Samaritan’s Purse. They bought the building and expanded it after the tornado.

Our house was the hangout. In the middle of no where, almost no parental oversight, 4 wheeling, camping out, and skinny dipping. Those were the days.
