Ah thanks for the heads up! Yeah I had to call in a personal favor to get in @ Eleven Madison Park and even then it was touch and go. Id prob call in more than a month ahead to get a seat at Daniel.

$350 at Gary Danko in SF back in 2004 or 2005.

Was set up to go to French Laundry back then, but heard it would be between $600 and $750 for a couple...decided to defer to a later date.

Always wanted to go to Eleven Madison. My wife and I have an opportunity to go in May but there is a catch. We would have to go with my wife's brother and his wife, in-laws and the in-laws 10 friends. The catch is the in-laws and their friends are Chinese and do not speak one word of English. I am not sure if I can sit through a 3 hour meal under those conditions.

I want to do the Victorian room next time. Basically similar to the chef table menu but in a room not the kitchen. It's $250 a person plus drink and tip.

A little over 300 at Tru in Chicago. I have no problem spending lots of money on incredible food but I don't enjoy paying a huge markup on wine.

With the family: $52
By myself: $15

No reason to waste money on food. It's all the same.

My wife and I: ~$500 at L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon in Paris Without a doubt the single tastiest dining experience I've ever had.

Commander's Palace at the Chef's Table. I think it was about $800 for a party of four.

This is what I have spend, which is different than what I had, in which someone else paid for but I guess no more than $250.

Dinner for two, About $450 at Mastro's Ocean Club in Malibu

My most expensive meal was also at a Mastro's. Mastro's City Hall Steakhouse in Scottsdale. Anniversary dinner for my husband and I....$300 with tip. We only drank one drink each and our dessert was free cause it was our anniversary.

BUT OMG THE BUTTERCAKE!!! BEST DESSERT EVER! I'll go sit at the bar at City Hall for drinks and buttercake now.
