Philadelphia is terrible. Take the train from Philly to Manhattan and it gives you an appreciation for even a place like Jackson or Shreveport.

I think Atlanta is just an incredible city.

It is.

Absolutely. But not as many as most would believe.

Midland, TX. Seemed to be tumbleweeds and trash caught up in all of the fences.

At the times I visited them, St. Louis was worse than Baltimore

There was a real shithole town I stopped at in the Florida panhandle once, but can't remember the name.

Portland, Oregon

This.

More specifically Old Town. It appears to have once been the heart of downtown. It looked as if the city surrendered it to zombies.

They actually have a steel mailbox looking thing on their waterfront labeled as a needle disposal box. It has a sticker which invites addicts to call a phone number when the box gets full. The river is right behind it.

Typical Portlandia. Of course addicts will do their civic duty, right? Isn’t that what everyone cares about?

Philly was disgusting. Downtown smelled like piss.

Youngstown is pretty bad.

Basically the whole corridor from Philly up to NYC. New Jersey is awful.
