To be fair, New Orleans is just as dirty.

San Fran was the shittiest.

San Francisco. Go down to fisherman’s wharf at sunrise and it smells like human piss and feces. Before they hose it down and move the homeless so tourists don’t see.

Anyone who has been to Oakland will say Oakland.

In fact, I haven’t found a close second. It legitimately looks like a 3rd world country. These camps get set up in the highway median. They’re all over the place.

I know you they are raining downvotes on you for this but I am in Houston one week a month and it has progressively gotten dirtier. Hopefully the new Mayor (R) will solve that

I’ve lived in Houston for 26 years. It is FAR from the dirtiest city in this country. As a woman, I would walk after dark from west to east across downtown with relatively good chances of survival. Not true if St Louis, NOLA or Baltimore.

Also- new Mayor is a Democrat. Hopefully better than Sheila Jackson Lee, but still a D

I'll give you places in New Jersey as you get closer to NYC and Philly. Camden is a dump , but places like Bernardsville, Somerville and Morristown are very nice and well kept.
But other places along the Dover line are trashy like the Oranges and Jersey City.

Yea some of the towns west of the city like Monteclair and Summit are really nice. Also don't forget north jersey is wild. Most bears per capita in the US. It's just from Trenton to NYC and then the Camden area which are the worst.
