Music that fits with driving and the change in sceneries.

I personally listen to Jackson browne. But he can be redundant after 2 hrs.

Btw, driving to destin.

Dave Matthews Band. You listen to 3 songs off a live album and you're there.

Find a podcast you like. Hardcore history episodes are like 4 hours each.

If it's gotta be music, though, definitely a jam band. Grateful Dead, Phish, etc.

Smashing Pumpkins Melon Collie and the Infinite Sadness

Get Satelite radio (Sirius)

Switch back and forth from Lithium and Octane(that's what we did for a 13 hour drive to Lake Tahoe last summer).

It's got a ton of reassembled Beach Boys albums w/alternate takes as well as several bootlegs. He even has a couple of Mike Love's cruddy solo albums.

The sound is pretty good quality for the most part too.

In all seriousness Rascal Flatts > waterboarding. I am sure Spotify has some kind of road trip playlist.
