"Never, ever try to understand women"

Lord loves a workin' man; don't trust whitey; see a doctor and get rid of it.

When in doubt, do a cup check.

Start saving money for retirement when you are very young.
This. It's hard to do for young people starting out but recommendable none the less. Here's a little example. I was given a savings bond, $100 face (cost $50 to buy) value back in '77. Interest was 4.5% for the 30 year maturity. Cashed it in about two months ago and the cashier handed me $564. If only...

Never skip a chance to take a shower, brush your teeth, change your underwear, or charge your phone.

Don't play with drugs. Never a good ending.

You know, moving to a state with no income tax has done wonders for this. Even though any discipline could do this and not think about it...just follow me on this.
Whereas in LA, state income tax is taken out of the check and you are just used to seeing it gone. Moving to a state with no income tax essentially allows me to contribute more to pre-tax retirement. So now instead of the state getting 6% (or whatever it is), that goes into my retirement. And couple that with the company match and I'm really making headway.
And trust me, I know my state is getting it one way or another, through other tax. Just saying, this has done well for my actual month to month earnings.

Forgot this one....."be careful of the toes you step on today because they'll be attached to the arse you're kissing tomorrow."

Learn what makes people happy, and tell them what they want to hear.

I dont care if you save cash and put it in a safe deposit box. Just save something and do it while you are young.
I am older than most here. Getting close to 50. I opened a 401K as soon as I could when I was young. I think the age was 21. I saved some but it was not enough compared to what I was making.
When I got 45, I realized that I had not done enough. So I had to scramble. Fortunately for me, I made a few moves and got things on track. I was lucky. Most wont be and will not be prepared.
I do not plan on having a full time job after the age of 55 or 56. If that is a plan of yours, plan for it while you are in your 20's
Get use to saving anything. Even if it is $25 a week. It makes it easier when you need to stash big chunks of money away later.

The first thing my Chemistry Lab Instructor told us my Freshman year of college:
"Hot glass looks just like cold glass".
You'd be surprised how many times that knowledge has served me.

I think a better lesson is to always trust a fart. Life's too short to be stingy with you're releases, have fun with them- get creative.
Sounds good, until you have one go 3D on you.

You can't get a girl pregnant if it's her first time or yours.

I wish to pass on this wisdom: Kids of college, bed a 40+ year old just once in your young lives. You will receive total consciousness.

Here's one I learned:
Not only should you not think the first girl you bang is going to be your future wife, you shouldn't think any of the first 50 or so will be either. I don't care who says otherwise or has a happy experience, marrying your high school sweetheart is mostly a bad idea. I learned the technique, which is the same as working your way up the ladder in a career. You take in a large pool of potential significant others and one REALLY good one will eventually emerge from the pack as "the one". Don't rush it; as a guy, the more notches you have on your belt, the higher quality of females you get access to. Plus, you get to work out your need for sexual variety so it hopefully won't come back to haunt you later and ruin your marriage.
Seems pretty obvious but it's surprising how many guys don't get any of that.
