apple cider vinegar if you can stand a shot a day.

apple cider vinegar kicks arse

don't drink straight, dilute first

the clue everyone missed was Christ on the cross getting vinegar, it was a clue, it's a dietary need

or get the capsules from vitacost , 1500mg in one capsule once a day at bedtime

[quote]Why in the frick won't you take a pill for it? Mine was high, got on the medication, no side effects, and it dropped like a rock,

what he said, take the pill. I tried a half hearted diet and there was no change, w/ an uptake in exercise. after trials of dosages and types, Crestor did the trick and steady eddie since then

Take the damn pills dude. Don't be a moron. A lot of us have been there, maybe not cholesterol but something else. It was BP for me. I thought I was too damn alpha for pills and tried like a mug to keep from taking them. Plus with cholesterol pills you can still eat the shite outa bacon cheeseburgers. Do it man, pills are good... pills are gooood.

Well Hammer insinuated his liver is at max now with his drugs. Statins hit liver pretty hard and they might even be contraindicated with his other drugs.

Thats why the new stomach shots (bocoizumab) is so special- no liver issue and works great on ldl.

Like I said earlier dude, I am already taking 9-10 pills a day. 8 of them being pills that are probably detrimental to my liver in the long run. Plus, I drank heavily from maybe 17-25

. I will not take pills for it, so he said I have to eat differently to lower it. I guess I could stop eating so much fast food, but what else should/shouldn't I be eating? The internet was all kinds of contradiction, so I couldn't decipher it.
I had a first cousin who was jr college lineman at Pear River JC back in the late 60's - 6'5" 265 - let his weight get up to 315 - he had cholesterol over 300 - did get his weight down to 285 - but refused to take meds - massive heart attack at 46 - first time a coffin actually felt heavy when I was a pallbearer.

Red Yeast Rice helps with that. If you Google it you'll find lots of people singing its praises.

Well, if you don't remember not eating or drinking anything but water for 8 to 10 hours prior to the blood draw then I suggest you schedule another cholesterol screening and make 100% sure you fast prior to.

Ask your doc about Welchol. It doesn't go in the liver. That's the only cholesterol med I can tolerate.
