I like the Challenger Hellcat based on looks alone.

Meh...I'd have preferred a slightly more retro look. Not too much though. More like a old challenger fricked a viper and made a 700+hp love baby.

It's not about looks with the Hellcat.

It asks, do you have the nads to handle this much torque?
All these other cars, the new Stingray as the exception, aren't stacking up hp wise.

Probably not. My '68 Camaro put out 533 HP on a dyno and it's a fricking beast. Can't imagine 700+. And I know me...I'd DRIVE that bitch!!!! Probably safer for me not to.

Audi R8

Of new cars, this would be my pic. Saw one in Florida. Carbon black. It was badass. That matte carbon color made it look fricking fearsome. That may be my next new sports car purchase. Wife wants one too. Can say it's for her. Good for me she loves cars too. Bitch has 6 now. I gotta build a new garage so I can get some toys.

I have no interests in a sports car. I am working on rebuilding the vehicle I want the most right now in a 74 Bronco. Going uncut with it and a modern EFI/auto tranny in it. Thinking about buying another one to build as a toy for the mud pits.

If I were to buy a new vehicle, I really like the BMW X6 with the diesel in it.

I want one of these as well. Want to rebuild one as soon as my shop is done. I'm bad about starting shite and not finishing though. That's where my recently retired FIL comes in.

In my actual price range...

Cadillac ATS-V
Charger Hellcat
Corvette Stingray
BMW M3 or M4

I'm about 85% sold on getting a ATS-V next summer/fall.

Hellcat is cool and all but it's 700 crank hp but more closer to 576-600 to the ground. Still potent but probably not that scary to drive lol. Excluding exotics (I'll call a Porsche one) I really like the new gt350. Really want to see what they do for a gt500 if they do one. The IRS intrigues me. I have a 06gt with 507rwhp....straight line is fun but it does not handle well at all.

I'm sure the Hellcat is plenty scary when you get on it. I mean come on...a four door car that runs a 10 second 1/4 mile with a tire swap is not messing around.
