There are some good ol' baws here on the OT. What truck is best?

Trucks are for frat bros who've never done real work or been off road in their lives. A real man drives a Dodge Stratus.

Acceptable - Dodge with 5.9l Cummins
Best - Combination of 5.9l Cummins with Allison transmission (can find this on some vehicles such as a Ford F600 or F700 for some years)

I'm a Chevy man personally, but the new Titans are some good looking trucks.

If you want something that will last forever, get a Toyota.

Very subjective question. I've owned F-150s, Silverados, Tundras and Rams and honestly had great experiences with all of them. Take decent care of them and it really just comes down to what you want to do with it. I'm a medium duty truck user and never pull anything more than a 7,500 lbs trailer. Here's my current ride...no complaints so far (at 36,000 miles):

I've owned a Dodge (given to me) junk
A Ford. Great truck although I did have anot exclusive model
A Chevy. Basic crew with 5.3 but was perfect at 160k.
Tacoma. 2nd worst in ride and amenities but would last forever

My dream truck needs to have a 12" lift so I can hang my big arse nuts off the back.

I love the Black Bayou Edition Sierra's at Duplessis GMC

My current ride is 2013 Ram 1500 Big Horn with 100k miles. It's running great and I know how to maintain vehicles. Hoping to get approx 150K-200K before buying another truck

I love my duramax, but i wouldn't be opposed to driving a tundra. Mpg sucks, but they seem to last forever.

Tundras last forever, but are very outdated. Running the same drivetrain for 10 years, & it sucks in fuel mileage. I struggle to get 14mpg. On the flip side, 92k trouble free miles. Could not say the same for the Chevy I owned before it, or my wife's Tahoe. I agree, Chevys are the most cheaply made of the bunch.

The OT mostly drives Range Rovers and late model Escalades. Those trucks typically share a 5 bay garage with at least one Italian sports car, a classic Rolls Royce, and a Mercedes S550. The responsible OT poster will always have a Land Cruiser or Suburban Z71 when we feel like slumming.

Only poor people drive something like a Ford or Chevy pickup truck.
