I have a 2016 Tundra. I actually like it more now than the day I bought it.

You know that that commercial is bullshite right?

I currently drive a Silverado 1500 because I got a good deal on it. Will probably drive it to 250k then buy a new Ford.

The first F-150 came out in 1975.

I'm on my third F-250. Probably try a Duramax next but only to change it up a little.

Can't beat the Toyota Tacoma for an everyman truck.

If you truly do have the need to haul heavy equipment and trailers, my choice would be a ford F2/350.

I've never owned a foreign vehicle

But especially when it comes to cars/SUVs, the answer to this question is obvious

Good point, especially if you realize ford, gm, and chevy are pretty much foreign made vehicles.

the 2014-15 model chevys I agree were cheaply made and felt rushed(from driving my dads 14 LTZ.) I have had 5 GM made trucks. All of which I had absolutely no problems with. The 2016 Z71 I have now, I'm in love with and it's just a double cab LT. I'm usually a crew cab kind of guy. I feel the 16 and 17's were built right. My dads 14 LTZ at 38k miles has issues, like: the drivers seat shifts side to side when turning, you can hear a flutter from the motor(from being told the issue is a timing problem, and is annoying just hearing it). The two trucks that have best resale value is Tundra and GM trucks. It's all about how well you take care of them bottom line.

Introduced in 1948, the Ford F-150 owns the distinction of being the most popular motor vehicle of all time. For well over 30 years, the F-150 has been the best-selling vehicle in the United States. Further, for more than 40 years, it has been the best selling pickup truck. Clearly Ford is on to something here.

Ford says this over and over and over. But honestly, the Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra are the exact same truck. If you take the number of their sales as one then they would out sell the F150 almost every year.

All the numbers I see says they, combined, are still about 10-15% less than Ford.
