I want a GMC Canyon with the Duramax diesel. I just can't justify another vehicle now.

All the numbers I see says they, combined, are still about 10-15% less than Ford.

Pretty sure Ford combines all F series trucks together.

They are really nice trucks. I owned a 2008 Tacoma from 2010 to 2015. I bought my Tundra in Dec of 2015.

I'd gotten too many mixed opinions about Ford trucks, and the fact that I had zero issues with my Tacoma, pretty much solidified me on staying with Toyota.

Drove a Tundra, now F-150. I would buy either again.

I test drove the diesel. I actually thought the gas motor felt better around town. I just couldn't justify the extra money upfront plus extra fuel cost just to tow a few hundred more pounds. The fuel economy is also obviously better, but I'm averaging just over 20 with mostly city driving so I can't complain

so does everyone else.

GM doesn't distinguish the 1500 from the 2500 Silverado for example.
Just list all Silverados.

Add the Silverado and Sierra sales numbers together and they still fall short of the Ford F-Series.

Ford owns almost 38% of the full size truck market
GM with their two trucks are just behind them at around 36%.

Every other manufacturer combined fill in the remaining 26%

Nope, not every year like Ford seems to want you to believe.

2015, for example, Silverado and Sierra outsold all F series trucks. LINK

Ford ugly? Lmao
You say they break a lot? Please do your homework.

Fords are giant pieces of garbage. And, ever since they ditched the International 7.3 they haven't produced a solid engine yet.

i should have said "most" years.

and i wouldn't be shocked if GM catches them semi-permanently soon due to pricing.

i'm on my 2nd Sierra after being a lifelong Ford guy.

When i bought my 2015, to get a comparably equipped F-150, would have cost me about $18,000 more than i paid for the Sierra.

i just don't see anywhere near that big of a difference between the two.

I don't understand the fascination with Tacomas. Not because they are bad, but because they can't hold or haul much. Drop a few bags of cement mix in the bed and it's already sagging.

Even a half ton is lacking, in my opinion.

My tundra was made in Texas. Fords are made in Mexico. Geaux figure.
