probably the A/C unit
You should probably move that outside .

I think the fridge/freezer might get the nod here but the sofa is probably in the conversation as well. Don't really remember just remember thinking it was a stupid amount to spend and they better last.

AC Unit
Gas range
Stainless fridge
60" plasma TV when it was new

All of that came with the place though... as far as things that I have bought...

Pretty close between the wife's engagement ring and my guitar. Her ring wins though.

And that's not counting the dogs, they are the most valuable, not the most expensive.

Obviously none of you have a kid because if you look at the life cycle cost of an ankle biter you would know that it is much MUCH more expensive than anything else.

$245,340

The average cost of raising a child born in 2013 up until age 18 for a middle-income family in the U.S. is approximately $245,340 (or $304,480, adjusted for projected inflation), according to the latest annual "Cost of Raising A Child" report from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.Aug 18, 2014

Cumulatively, my reef tank. I've got close to 10k tied up in that mother fricker.

If you will not count that, then it would be the wife's ring.
