If the boat is sinking, how are you drowning?
If you are underwater then I'd pretty much call it sunk.
Being raped by piranhas...there's a way to go!

1. Boat catches on fire and you get burned to the edge of death
2. Snakes get loose and are creepy as frick
3. Boat sinks with your charred body inside
4. You drown after the boat is submerged

Death by Fire.
Or Stabbed over and over.

Drowning in the Amazon while being raped by pirahnas with a candiru slithering up your urethra. South American trifecta!

Beaten to death by a bunch of feral black teens at a Kroger in Memphis?

Being flayed alive or burned alive would suck...
being eaten by a Great White or a saltwater croc would probably be the worst though imo. You not only drown, but you are torn apart and your final remains are as shark/croc shite.

I think when you are completely on fire.. Your nerve endings burn away pretty quick and then it's more fear based.
Impailment would be horrible

I've always had a fear of drowning, but I imagine that's quicker and less painful than burning. Being shoved into a coffin and buried alive would be pretty horrible, too.

First-degree burns affect only the outer layer of the skin. They cause pain, redness, and swelling.
Second-degree (partial thickness) burns affect both the outer and underlying layer of skin. They cause pain, redness, swelling, and blistering.
Third-degree (full thickness) burns extend into deeper tissues. They cause white or blackened, charred skin that may be numb.

Meaning that when its a third degree burn (worst burn) your skin becomes numb, meaning no pain.

That's the result of a stroke. It's scary for sure.
