I've had good success taking Gabapentin three times a day, and klonopin for real panic attacks. The Klonopin takes a while to work and only does a so so job. Thankfully that doesn't really matter anymore because I haven't had a full blown panic attack in quite some time, and I think the Gabapentin is one of the reasons.

Also keep in mind before starting any benzos that they are addictive and withdrawals can be horrific for a looooong time. Just keep that in mind if your doc is prescribing one for every day.

Unless you're dealing with a tragedy like death or serious illness, money issues(lost job)not figuring out how to pay for presents and crap like that. There isn't much in life that should give you so much grief.

No reason to be flippant

For me, I live walking. Often times after a long walk I come up with a few ideas along the way that I can pursue when I return from the walk. What's good about that is usually my anxiety is about research and writing.

This actually sounds like a good idea. It's no substitute for meds when you are having an actual panic attack (which is different from general anxiety but related), but a good hour long walk in the evenings sounds like a great way to destress and I would think is somewhat like meditation since you aren't doing something so physical that you can't think and if you go by yourself you get that hour to think.

Very strenuous exercise and little to no alcohol.

Also, Natural Calm. You can get it on Amazon.

you moron. I don't think you quite understand.

The people that suffer from regular anxiety and despression have a serious illness. Of course everyone in the world deals with mild anxiety every now and then, but a lot of people have uncontrollable anxiety and depression about things for no logical reasons.
