I dont like how the contraption just vomits lights all over your crib. Lights on the windows, lights on the doorknobs, etc.
The person that creates one of these that uses a few sensors to broadcast lights only where you want will be a millionaire. Put a few sensors on each end of your roof.....You heard it here first.

I can't decide either. They look ok in those pictures, but I've never actually seen them on a house IRL.

Saw some people with them shined on big oak trees. Thought it looked pretty cool

I like them in the pic but not sure how they look in person. As already stated, seems like it would be too easy for people to steal.

I've only seen them in nicer neighborhoods, so calling them trashy seems weird, but they also looked pretty good as well.

They are fat lazy people lights, so yes definitely trashy. They belong in a disco or planetarium, not on your house.

Trashy? I installed these while wearing cargo shorts, drinking out of a can of beer. And that was right after I got back from my Carnival cruise..
