CN does not have to detour over KCS track. They also own the track to BR along the river and eastward out of BR to Hammond. Trains were being detoured the same way when the spillway was open. It will definitely be a headache but is very doable. ...

This is not KCS track. It belongs to the CN railroad. It was going to be replaced soon anyway. Traffic will be rerouted to BR then to Hammond. ...
