Pretty sure most people around my age (33) that grew up in the 90s will say yes.

I'm 33, and yes, for me the 90s were awesome.

But that is because we were kids, and well being a kid is pretty awesome.

But that doesn't change the fact that as a society, it wasn't that great of a time.

I'm 36 and I loved the 90's. I went to middle school, high school and college all in the 90's.

I'm turning 36 in a few weeks and loved the 90s as well. My wife was actually listening to the the new Bruno Mars album on Spotify yesterday on the car and one of the songs had kind of an early 90s background to it. I actually told her that I'm pretty excited for the 90s trends to come back around.

I guess it was fun as a kid. When I think of the 90s I think of Biddy basketball which I loved as a kid. Loved drinking slush puppies at the youth center between games.

But I was 15-25 during the 2000s so that decade will always be better to me. Traded the slushes for sluts.

Everything I've heard about growing up in the 70s/80s makes it seem a lot more fun and wild than the 90s.

Subtle brag about an abuseless childhood. Good for you, that's probably why you're so soft, pussy.

I had the talkboy too. Forgot that existed

The Talkboy was my most lusted after toy and I can't figure out why. Obviously because Kevin McCallister used it to perfection, but it's basically a voice recorder you could slow down playback on, right?

As for the 90s, yeah, great times. Kids still played outside, but we could come inside and use our pay-by-the-hour dial up internet to chat up sloots on AOL.

93 to 97 were the best years for me but maybe because that's when I was in high school.

35 and loved the 90s, especially the music and movies. towards the end of the 90s we had the boom of the internet and AOL so we got a little taste of online entertainment (porn, aol chat rooms), minus all the negatives that come along with social media these days.

I feel music has really gone downhill since the 90s.

I"m curious what older people thought of the 90s

I'm almost 49. The Nineties were a great time but I was so busy with life that they just flew by. More responsibility. I think of the Eighties more fondly because I was a teenager/college student with far fewer responsibilities and more personal freedom. But they were both great decades in this country's history. 9-11 marked a turn to a more serious, troublesome mood for this country and we really haven't come out of that malaise yet.

It's tough competition but the 80's was probably the best. The dot com bubble/internet explosion was pretty great.

Most surveys show that Americans rank the 1990s
that's probably directly related to whoever was asked, if anyone was actually surveyed.

3 years old to 13 years old were my 1990's. This is the ideal age range for that decade. Congrats to me, in the greatest decade in history I won even more by spending the perfect ages of my life in that decade.

I would say everything but music progressed a great deal in the 90s. The 90s had big shoes to fill though.

Most surveys show that people born from 1978 to 1988 took these surveys.

Once grunge wore off around 94, the 90's were mostly an upbeat decade.

I am 39 and enjoyed the 80's as a kid and 90's as a teen.

80's - Best decade for cartoons/toys, still played outside
90's - Best decade for making "mistakes" without seeing it plastered on social media

Why does every 80s kid think that 90s kids didn't play outside?

I'm inclined to say the 80s because of my age, but 90s were OK. As stated earlier, it relative to your age at the time.

90s were good times to be a teen. None of your mistakes were captured on social media and economy was so good you could get fired from your part time job in the morning and have another one by lunch.
