Were the 90s as good for you as they seemed to be for everyone else?

Most surveys show that Americans rank the 1990s as their favorite decade. Does that jive with your own personal history?

Also, for the old timers here, was the late 70s/early 80s as shitty for you as they were for everyone else?

each decade has had its pluses and minuses. I can't think of an extended time period (>2 yrs) that was particularly bad or good.

I did have a shite ton of fun in the 90s, but that was 17 to 27 and if you don't have fun during those ages you suck at life.

I had sex for the very first time in the 90's, so yes, it has my vote.

The nineties were the pinnacle of cultural achievement. Y2K not destroying us all at the end of that decade is the greatest injustice we'll ever suffer as a species.

The early to mid Eighties were the high water mark of American civilization. It has been getting exponentially worse since then. The narcissism and arrogance of people being the chief characteristic of the decline.

You're either talking about breastfeeding, which is creepy as hell, or you weren't breastfed which means you're probably autistic or a sociopath.

I liked them up till about 1998.

The 80s being a kid and 90s being a teen combo was great.

America was booming for nearly the entirety of bill clintons presidency. I don't care if you credit Clinton, the republican congress, the world economy, or the illuminati. That's just a fact.

The 90's were when stocks and 401ks, dot com, real estate all boomed. Unemployment was down, interest rates fell to historic lows, the dollar was strong, but not too strong,...it was the greatest time of my life economically. Hopefully we'll see the same under trump.

Pretty sure most people around my age (33) that grew up in the 90s will say yes. I"m curious what older people thought of the 90s
