I think you're son is going to suck.

Also, what the hell is wishenpoof?

Babies during football season are great. They sleep all freaking day and you can just lay on the couch with them sleeping on your chest and never get up.

except if you have season tickets and actually go to the games

Genius above getting married in June. Sounds awesome.

The best thing about summer weddings is that I can wear jeans and flip flops and my toes don't get cold.

Bye week, Sunday wedding, weak spot in the schedule, etc.

There's plenty of ways to do a wedding during football season.

You aren't a very good friend if you can't suck it up and go. Do you really need to watch grown men that bad? I bet they play next week also.

I got married on a Saturday during the Fall.. Scheduled it on an away game..And only did that b/c the place we were having reception was booked solid during LSU open date weekend..

Game ended before ceremony started.. all was good..

People have the right to get married whenever they want. Guests have the right to attend or not attend. If your close friend/family member is getting married on a saturday in the fall, and you choose not to attend because of football, you need to re-evaluate your life. But again, that's your right.

Are you playing in said football game?

If so I could understand your frustration.

Well if you are just signing a contract in front of a JOP and not getting married in the church...who gives a shite? Do it on a Tuesday and head over to Golden Corral.

Hopefully the game is at night.

Doubleheader with night game on CBS has already been announced for that Saturday, so I think you will be fine.
