This morning I see one guy in my group fwd 3 emails to me and others in my group over the weekend as an FYI. He could clearly see we were all part of the original exploder list.
My boss does this even though we've explained to him why he doesn't need to send those emails. I've always chalked it up to him being 68 years old and not really understanding how email works. We constantly have to resend emails because he accidentally deletes them from his iPad.

Putting made up titles on their business cards and email signatures.
I worked for a big corporate company in Dallas for a few years and EVERYBODY had some made up title.
Production Control Manager
Office Manager
Customer Service Manager
Marketing Manager
it was unbelievable. Just made up names. We had one Manager and he was the General Manager... that's it!
I fricking hated working in that type of environment

We have one guy in the office who rejects our electronic time sheets over trivial shite like not having am exact material on hand calculation or your vehicle hours being .02 of an hour off from what the GPS tracker says.
frick that, I'd be looking for another job. I don't handle micromanagement like that very well.
Nah we just make his life miserable by dumping all the trivial bullshite stuff on him ir: we make him schedule concrete, schedule equipment moves, set up testing labs, etc he'll figure it out before to long and do the right thing ;lol:

My husband works with a guy who has a picture of himself on his cell case. He's also the type to send emails at 2am that aren't anything pressing.
I worked with a lady who would always have her office door closed because she just could NOT be disturbed. She was caught watching DVD's and eating a bucket of KFC at her desk

Does everybody here work in an office or do some of you work for a living?

People who put MBA after their name when they don't work in an educational setting and it doesn't correlate to their actual job.

How does having an MBA relate to an educational setting? An MBA would lean more toward a private sector environment than academia. The knowledge and principles learned through an MBA program can be applied in almost any setting.
Note: I do not have an MBA

I would assume most people in here work white collar jobs

A few people in my office set up scheduled emails on Friday to fire off on the weekends and CC our CEO and Owner so it looks like they are working. Everyone knows about it so nobody is being fooled and we just kinda laugh when they do it.
