Rule of thumb is to not swim in the water within 24 hours of rain--especially in an inland body like the Mississippi Sound beaches.

Front beaches on the Gulf are a little safer.

Why would anyone put their kids in water there? Was Holly beach taken?

BSL is a great little coastal town. It's not a beach town, it's a yacht club and fishing town with a nice breeze.

Don't come if you don't want to.

You're going to have to country dance at Lil Joes if you want the hoes.

Oh, me too. It's one of the properties that we are all curious to see what happens with.

Not sure, I'd guess down by the Slipper...but I have friends who KILL it, only they don't talk a lot about where. I think the Pass and Long Beach.

Walk from Shaggy's towards Henderson Point if you're looking for flounder. I grew up in BSL, and that's where we always went. And lol at Lil Joe's comment. Blake and his wrist slitting music.....

I also can't believe that property at the corner of Main and Beach Blvd. doesn't have a business yet. Glad the Murphy's are building back though, nice family.

I see people floundering over there for sure.

I was giving my best shot at the hoes, and I don't want to give up my honey hole (Gabbies). J/K, n/r.

If you frequented Gabbies three years ago when it was actually fun, we might know each other. Are you from BSL, or just live there now?

ETA: I see on FB the bars on the beach are the go to places now. I used to work for the owner of TBT.

Been there 13 years. My wife's from there. I definitely have been going to Gabbies for a bit, albeit not regularly.

We drink early at Sideways now.

That's where we usually go but my husband is curious about Gabbie's. I guess we should avoid.
