Advocate article

quote:

The officers used Tasers on Sterling, 37, and “were attempting to subdue the subject” when they “observed the butt of a gun in (Sterling)’s front pants pocket,” the affidavit says.

When Sterling “attempted to reach for the gun from his pocket, the officers fired their police issued duty weapon at the subject to stop the threat,” the affidavit says. “The subject was shot multiple times and did not survive his injuries.”

as if we didn't know this was the reason the officers would give for their justification... but this just makes it official

Cops on the video clearly stated such. But according to these morons, the cops are here to kill as many blacks as possible.

The officer's multiple attempts at non-lethal methods adds to their credibility of saying he had a gun. The last thing they wanted was to take someone's life that night

So about the store owner's lawsuit...

This explains why the store owner was prohibited from entering his store for "more than four hours"

Here's a counter protest chant. "Comply, Comply and you won't die."

I'm sure the left will say Sir Alton lord of the CD and rape was just trying to surrender his weapon to the officers when he was gunned down.

Also the store owner should be looking at some charges, if the rumors of his lies are true.

Only the Lord and Sterling himself know whether this is true or not.

That said, he was wrestling with officers while he had a gun in his pocket. No one on this Earth can say that he wasn't reaching for it, and that's why this was justified.

ETA: In my opinion, of course.

Nope, they will forget about it by then. Maybe a small protest but that will be it.

I am still trying to understand how a few of the shots entered his back.

They will just argue that didn't work with Minn. guy. Which may be true. But he is more of an exception than the rule.
