your taste is heavily influenced by things having nothing to do with the food in your mouth. thinking you're getting quality b/c it costs more, or comes from a whole foods, makes you perceive it to taste better. your argument is tautological
This is true. You taste with four things, the last of which are your taste buds.

Because you come to that sudden realization that you're getting ripped off when you're paying $10 for a pre sliced pineapple when everyone else is getting the whole for $3 and slicing it on their own...but OMG ITS ORGANIC AND FRESH.
No because of post like your last one.
All I'm saying is they have good stuff at whole foods, a lot of it is the same and most of that. "Organic" stuff is crap. But there is still a lot of good stuff you can get at Whole Foods if you pay attention

Please. Go there and show me a beer that can't be bought at Colandros.

Also there is no Colandros where I live

Yep. There's zero difference between a bottle of Yellowtail Pinot Noir and a Saintsbury Brown Ranch.

First of all, you said you can buy the beers at whole foods anywhere.
Secondly, I don't live in fricking Baton Rouge bro.

Excuses.
Also, Sierra Nevada isn't a craft beer.

If you don't eat out every meal you are trashy so why are exactly are the people in this thread debating this?

I grow 'organically' (I put that in apostrophes because I am not USDA certified, but I follow the rules) because I can make a lot more money on much less land with not much labor, than if I tried to run a commercial farm. My ethics with running my place have more to do with self-stewardship than any environmental concern, though it is somewhat present.

Just going to leave this one here:

In it you have scores of people incorrectly picking the "non-organic" product as the organic one.
Folks, just because it is organic doesn't mean it is better for you.

A taste test of organic produce is so incredibly stupid and beyond the point, I don't buy anything organic because of the taste. I can make anything taste great. There are only a few things that taste noticeably different, things like milk and eggs, and that's really only with non pasteurized milk and eggs out of the yard for a day. As for the rest of that video, you can make an argument for just about anything and support it with some "facts" from some "experts" and throw in a few curse words and jokes and it will be convincing. They focused on produce, which as I posted earlier is third on my list for buying behind dairy and proteins. As far as produce goes, I always try to buy seasonally local because I like to support local businesses. If it's organic, great. If not, I still buy it over organic from elsewhere. There's a lot of stuff I could argue against in that video, but these were the main ones. I hate typing on iPads.

OMG a video from the internet testing random people! I guess you're right, Whole Foods is trying to kill people

And don't forget that people have died from organics that used manure fertilizer and not properly cleaned

A recent hepatitis outbreak in USDA “certified-organic” frozen berry mix has people worrying and wondering what steps are being taken to ensure that organic food is safe. Unfortunately, not many.

The E. coli outbreak in Europe resulted in at least 44 deaths and over 3,700 illnesses. The outbreak was caused by bean sprouts originating from an organic farm in Germany.

As someone who grew up on an organic farm and inspected over 500 organic farms and processing facilities, let me make this crystal clear: There is NO ROUTINE FIELD TESTING in the organic industry! None.
Synthetic fertilizers don't do that. jus sayin

Everything you just listed is a result of cross contamination, it happens. Organic or not...mostly not. Just for fun, here is a link to a comprehensive list of outbreaks listed by year as well as product and pathogen as reported by the CDC.
