That's a strange mindset to me. Even at times when I was unfulfilled and dissatsfied with my life, I never felt like I was waiting for anything. I felt like I had to DO something.

Life doesn't just happen. You have to make it happen. Stop sitting around thinking about living and just go live.

I used to think you were a chick too.

You oughta think about getting involved in some extra activities. Volunteering, softball or travel. Something. Get off life's sidelines.

Feels like it has been that way since high school. I've had so many opportunities too.

I am also, but I knew I wanted to take a year off of school, after I graduated from LSU. Turned into a two year break, but I'm headed back in the fall.

This last month I have began wishing I didn't take the break, but then again I have done so many things that I wouldn't have been able to if I was in school.

My real life begins this summer. It isn't what I ever imagined, but if it works out it will be the opportunity of a lifetime for a 21-year-old.

You're on the right track, but you can't just get up and start doing random shite, because that doesn't usually end well.

It's not easy to live authentic to yourself, and it does involve a whole lot of sitting around and thinking about all the lies and dishonesty that you are employing in your own life--balanced with action of course, but it's gotta be a healthy mix.

Are you treading water because you know specific opportunities are on the horizon? A lot of people do this. You have to put in your time at some point.

However, if you're just standing in the shallow end waiting for someone to help you out, you'll be waiting for a very very long time, possibly forever. If you don't like the situation you're in in life, change it. Change careers, or hobbies, or go meet new people to be with. As my brother says: if you're bored, you're boring.

I would like to clarify that my post were directed toward this line of thinking.

Yep.

I feel stuck in a limbo right now. Graduate in a few weeks. No job yet. Nowhere to live and my lease ends on the last day of school...
