I hear a thud on my porch, l get up to check and see the UPS truck take off. I guess a Shark vacuum was a hot delivery.
Anyone else seen them out this late before?

Yeah during the holidays they really put in work to try and keep up with volume.

Those people don't get enough credit for their consistency and hard work

It's holiday time. What do you expect? They work like slaves.

Never. And I hadn't yet gotten a delivery expected today. So you're saying there's a chance?

yep...they work until the truck is empty, and that is pretty damn late sometimes during the holidays.

At least he didn't knock and make the dog bark and wake my 2-year old daughter up. But it does make me wonder how many packages will get stolen tonight because people don't know they are sitting outside.

Edit for wording

Experienced that last night.

Earlier in the day same thing except it was a little Hispanic lady in a Ford Explorer. I guess Amazon is subcontracting?

One year, it was Dec. 22nd or so, and I was working all day in the yard.
I saw ,on FOUR separate occasions throughout the day, a UPS truck drive through the neighborhood. TWO FedEx trucks.

My buddies son got on as a driver helper for the season. He whooped when he gets home.

My mother has been a UPS driver for over 30 years. From Thanksgiving till around mid to late January its at least 12 hour work days. She said it gets worse every year because of increased online shopping and everyone promising "two day shipping". It amazes me people get mad when they order stuff on December 23rd and get mad its not there by Christmas

Latest was a little past 11PM last year, best part was it was overnight scheduled for AM delivery.

Wasn't even a holiday, middle of the flipping summer.
